I plan and produce photo and video end to end, developing the brief, writing scripts, and recruiting and managing creatives, while directing and editing the final output into something clear and emotive.

About me.
Hi, I’m Jocelyn.
I’m an editorial specialist and communications lead working at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and delivery.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve lived and worked across 30+ countries on six continents. I’ve worked with the UN, as well as with executives, small businesses, and teams building something from the ground up.
Living and working across these environments has shaped how I see communication. Today, when I work with clients, I spend time understanding how things operate beneath the surface. I ask questions, run interviews, and connect the dots. Then I write, edit, produce, and manage the work so it reflects reality and lands with the people it’s meant to reach.
These days, I work as a freelance partner across a range of roles. Sometimes I come in to run editorial operations or define the narrative. Sometimes I sit with founders and executives to find their voice. Sometimes I simply write copy, or manage external partners to produce multimedia work. Sometimes, I even come in to run a project end to end when teams are stretched. In every instance, I’m helping teams get things done.
I’m based in British Columbia and work remotely across time zones. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me in the garden, on a mountainside, or off on some adventure with a film camera in hand.
